Certified Roof Inspections
Let’s get a couple of things straight right off the bat. Every person that deems him or herself able to work in roofing will be able to provide an inspection. Heck, a concerned homeowner can get up on the roof and without any major knowledge could potentially spot an issue. Yet, these inspections are not going to be certified. Certified roofing inspections don’t only involve a group of our guys getting up on the roof. If we deem that your roofing is in generally good condition we will be able to hand out a document to you. In the document we will be able to certify the inspections of the roof and deem it fit for the next 3 to 5 years.
Why Does This Matter? There are really two main reasons why people happen to be looking for this particular service. Number one is just your peace of mind. As a homeowner knowing that your roof is not going to be falling apart anytime soon can be a bit reassuring. The second reason has more to do with people who are looking to sell their homes. It is always a good idea to have a certified roof over your home so that the person who is thinking about buying can sleep well at night! Certified & Non-Certified Just because we are able to offer these certified inspections does not mean that all of the inspections that we are going to be able to provide are going to be certified. Let us elaborate on that. If you think that you have an issue with your roofing you can give us a call and we can inspect it. It is not like if we don’t find anything we give you a document that says so. Unless of course, you are looking to certify that you don’t have a problem. Sorry for the confusion that this may have caused! How Often Do I Need Certification? For a lot of people having all of their papers in line so to speak is something that is very important. Regardless of whether or not, they are looking to sell their property at this very moment. If you are one of those people that wants to ensure that your roof is certified at all times you are probably going to need to give us a call once every three years. Most of the certification documents are valid for that amount of time. What If I Don’t Pass? We are not going to be able to just come in and sign off on every single roof that we take a look at. There are going to be times where the roofs are just not going to make the cut. When this happens we can directly let you know of the issues that we observed and if you need us to we can fix them ourselves. So that the next time around we can make sure that your roof will pass the certification with flying colors. |
